The GeneStory Story
Company Founded
GeneStory was established as a genomics research initiative, with a mission to build Vietnam's national genome database for precision medicine.
1000 Vietnamese Genomes Project
In collaboration with VinBigData and Prof. Vu Ha Van (Yale University), GeneStory launched its first large-scale genome sequencing project — mapping 1,000 Vietnamese genomes as the foundation of our reference database.
GeneStory Consumer Platform Launch
Officially launched GeneStory as Vietnam's first commercial personal genomics platform, offering DNA health reports, ancestry analysis, and pharmacogenomics — with full Ministry of Health certification.
Human Act Prize & Regional Expansion
Awarded the Human Act Prize 2025 for social impact in healthcare. Expanded to serve clinical partners across Vietnam and began building partnerships for Southeast Asian market expansion.
